About the Event

Imagine classrooms blossoming into vibrant living laboratories, where students learn not just from textbooks but from the very soil beneath their fingers. School gardens are more than plots of land; they are classrooms without walls, fostering a love for nature, science, and sustainable living.

Let's Grow a Greener Future together! Earth Heart Growers is not just about planting seeds; it's about nurturing the minds that will shape tomorrow. Be part of a movement that believes in cultivating a generation with a profound love for the Earth. This is a weekend of learning at Joseph Fields Farm, a 5th Generation organic farm located in Johns Island, SC. We will meet and learn together in a peaceful southern lanscape; from how to start a garden at your school or community, explore the 40 lesson/garden curriculum with activities and having a deeper understanding of how the SC standards correlate to the school garden program to how to introduce nutrition and healthy eating habits from a garden classroom. Sign up now and save your spot!

(Lunch will be provided for both days)

This event has a group. You’re welcome to join the group once you register for the event.
